Job summary

Manulife invites students in a Computer Science or related program to join the Data Office, gaining hands-on experience in Customer Experience, Data Analytics, and Continuous Improvement. You will collaborate across teams, deliver data-driven insights, and help shape decisions for customers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited university for a degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strategic thinker with a customer-centric focus.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving using data to tell a story and guide decisions.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Strong work ethic with a proactive and flexible attitude, eager to contribute wherever needed.
• Excellent time management, planning, and communication skills.

• Understanding of the financial services industry, including wealth and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Ask insightful questions to understand business drivers and define scope.

• Apply data mining, analysis and visualization to inform customer-focused decisions.
• Deliver well-documented solution requirements and propose clear solutions.
• Lead meetings and communicate across organizational levels.

• Recommend business decisions that address customer challenges.
• Contribute to activities such as valuation, trade processing, risk oversight, reporting, onboarding, data management, and dashboard creation.
