Job summary

Altis Technology seeks an experienced Data Analytics and Machine Learning Specialist to support a large public sector organization in Toronto. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments and big data frameworks.
• Strong SQL, programming, data manipulation, ETL, relational databases, statistical analysis, data mining, and business intelligence skills.
• Experience developing and deploying predictive models, classification algorithms, and deep learning solutions using TensorFlow or PyTorch, with knowledge of natural language processing.
• Proficiency with ASP.NET, .NET Core, custom Web APIs, Entity Framework, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Kanban boards, database architecture, data modelling, information visualization, and high-volume structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, consulting, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, including technical documentation and presentations.
• Proficiency with Excel, Access, and VBA; experience with R, PowerPivot, MATLAB, SPSS, or SAS is an asset.

• Develop and support cloud-based applications, APIs, and data solutions while contributing to testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Translate complex quantitative findings into accessible visualizations, reports, and recommendations.
