RQ11753 - Senior Data Analytical Specialist / Scientist

Location: Toronto, ON (5 Days Onsite)

Duration: October 26, 2026 – October 5, 2027 (can extend)

Par rate: $80-85

Type: Contract

We are seeking a Senior Data Analytical Specialist / Scientist to lead advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analytics solutions, building predictive models, designing data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments
• 5+ years of experience with Big Data frameworks and technologies
• Strong expertise in SQL, data manipulation, and managing large relational databases
• Experience sourcing, cleaning, transforming, and structuring complex or unstructured datasets
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Classification Models, and Deep Learning solutions
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks
• Experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API Development, Entity Framework, Azure SQL
• Strong experience with DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Automated Deployments, and Configuration Management
• Proficiency across cloud service models (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS)
• Experience working in Agile environments using Kanban or similar methodologies
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience supporting large government or public sector applications
• Experience with ETL development, data integration, and data engineering
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data Mining, Statistical Modeling, and Information Visualization
• Experience with Power BI, R, SAS, SPSS, MATLAB, Excel, Access, or VBA
• Experience designing dashboards, reporting solutions, and business intelligence applications
• Knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and enterprise analytics best practices.
