Position Purpose

The Data Analyst will transition existing reports from legacy tools to Power BI, understanding current reporting needs, designing and implementing new solutions, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity during migration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze Existing Reports: Review current reports to identify key metrics and data sources.
2. Design New Reports: Develop dashboards in Power BI to meet business needs.
3. Data Migration: Extract, transform, and load data, ensuring accuracy, using ETL processes and data virtualization tools.
4. Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
5. Testing and Validation: Ensure reports are accurate and reliable.
6. Training and Support: Educate users on new reports and dashboards.
7. Documentation: Keep detailed records of the migration process, data mappings, and user guides.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or Business with a focus on data.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, ETL, scripting (Python), and development (C#). Experience with other visualization tools is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with complex data sets.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in work.

Preferred Asset

• Experience as a Data Analyst with reporting and visualization expertise.
