Job summary

Walmart Canada seeks a Claims Associate to support inventory accuracy and store profitability by properly handling damaged and returned merchandise in line with company guidelines. This role collaborates with vendor partners, associates, and customers to secure credits, maintain inventory control, and sustain smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Handle damaged and returned items promptly and accurately.
• Process returns, vendor requests, recalls and donations with required paperwork.
• Keep the claims area safe, neat and organized and follow safety procedures.
• Follow company claims procedures and complete forms to reduce chargebacks.
• Support store programs by completing CVP tasks per current systems.
• Coordinate with Office Support and Store Delivery teams as needed.
