Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense seeks a Customer Training & Program Coordinator to unite customers, resources, and logistics for training, demonstrations, and events. You will connect Sales, Program Management, Engineering, and Field Service to deliver seamless engagements and insights.

The role focuses on scheduling, governance, reporting, and process improvements across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and coordinating complex schedules.
  • 3+ years of experience in administration, operations coordination, event management, training support, or customer-facing roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and collaboration platforms.
  • Advantage: experience with CRM systems, Confluence, or JIRA.
  • Advantage: experience supporting Health & Safety, compliance, or governance programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule customer training, product demonstrations, trade shows, customer visits, and operational engagements.
  • Manage resource planning and staff capacity across customer-facing activities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams including Sales, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, and Field Service.
  • Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and logistical challenges.
  • Lead post-event activities including customer sign-off, training certificates, surveys, and trip report administration.
  • Partner with Finance to support accurate event tracking and revenue recognition.
  • Track operational metrics and develop dashboards that provide visibility into demand, utilisation, and scheduling efficiency.
  • Lead site Health & Safety programmes, compliance activities, and related training initiatives.
  • Support ethics and governance activities, compliance communications, and record management.
  • Oversee office operations, visitor management, and employee engagement events.

Customer Training & Program Coordinator - Mission Support Operations

At Teledyne FLIR Defense, our technologies help support critical missions for defence, public safety, and emergency response teams around the world. We're looking for a highly organised coordinator who thrives on bringing people, resources, and logistics together to create exceptional customer experiences. In this visible, fast-paced role, you'll serve as the central hub for customer training, product demonstrations, trade shows, and customer visits. Salary Range

Salary Range: $56,200.00-$74,900.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
