Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Senior Quality & Process Specialist to drive quality excellence across the product lifecycle in regulated environments. You will lead cross‑functional investigations to resolve non-conformances, analyze performance data, and implement robust quality systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in root-cause analysis, CAPA, 8D methodology, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar analytics and reporting tools.
  • 8+ years of quality systems experience in high-tech, aerospace, medical device, electronics, or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting regulatory compliance programs and product certification activities.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and KPI-driven performance management.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience or certification.
  • ASQ quality certification is a plus.
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations and resolution of product and material non-conformances across production and development environments.
  • Drive customer field failure analysis and corrective actions to improve product reliability.
  • Facilitate CAPA, containment activities, root-cause analysis, and 8D problem-solving efforts.
  • Develop and manage supplier scorecards while supporting supplier quality improvement initiatives.
  • Use Power BI dashboards and KPIs to monitor quality performance and identify trends.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects that reduce waste, variation, and defects.
  • Support customer service teams by translating quality data into process and product improvements.
  • Guide compliance activities related to DO-160, CE, RoHS, REACH, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support quality objectives within engineering, R&D, and new product introduction programs.
  • Collaborate with Global Trade Compliance teams to ensure applicable shipping and product controls are met.

Salary Range: $83,600.00-$111,500.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
