Customer Solutions Lead

This role aims to:

  • Make Bayer the preferred provider for customers’ operations
  • Enable team members to run their local business effectively for the benefit of customers and Bayer
  • Maximize local business opportunities and customer experience by co-creating outcomes with farmers and partners

This is a permanent, home-based position in the Southwest Region of Quebec, with local travel required.

What you will do:

  • Own and achieve squad P&L targets collaboratively
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute short-term (90-day), mid-term, and long-term cycles
  • Adapt and reassess tasks regularly to meet squad goals
  • Work with the squad to clarify roles and maximize customer focus
  • Use digital tools and agronomic expertise to support Bayer’s portfolio, leveraging market data to identify opportunities
  • Contribute to team dynamics through activities like recruitment and performance feedback
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment
  • Build strong relationships with growers and new customers to drive market share and positive experiences
  • Collaborate to grow and protect sales of Bayer products and support services
  • Prioritize spending of discretionary funds for maximum impact
  • Develop strategies to increase sales across Bayer’s portfolio, including seed treatment sales

Who you are:

  • BSc in Agriculture or related field with at least 2 years of experience
  • Deep understanding of crop production, agronomy, and Bayer’s portfolio
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Knowledge of customer needs for tailored solutions
  • Experience with digital data tools
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving ability
  • Ability to supervise and coach summer students

Desired:

  • CCA, CCSC, or PAg(RTAg) designation
