Customer Solutions Lead Inside

This is a permanent, home-based position with some travel within the territory of Saskatchewan.
What you will do:
- Jointly own and achieve Squad P&L targets, in collaboration with all Squad members.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute in short-term (90-day cycles), mid-term, and long-term cycles.
- Adapt, iterate, regularly reassess, and prioritize tasks to ensure continued progress towards Squad outcomes.
- Collaborate and co-create within Squad to ensure clarity of accountabilities to maximize customer focus.
- Leverage digital tools and agronomic expertise to support and service the full Bayer portfolio of seed, crop protection, and new business models, while also utilizing market intelligence and data insights to assess and prioritize opportunities.
- Contribute to effective team dynamics as a self-managing Squad, through activities such as peer recruitment, selection, and performance feedback.
- Foster an inclusive environment of professionalism and safe working practices, ensuring Safety and Compliance requirements are met or exceeded within Squad.
- Build strong relationships with specific grower customer segments and potential new customers to drive market share and ensure a positive customer experience.
- With a strong understanding of the complete portfolio and relevant programs, collaborate within the Squad to grow and protect sales of Bayer CropScience products and provide product and support services.
- Generate sales leads and close sales through virtual interactions.
- Act as technical support “in season” through the Product Support Centre and assist with technical support during the off-season.
- Provide digital farming support to Squad members, including customer lead generation, initial outreach, and remote onboarding/engagement activities.
- Offer virtual on-farm expertise to assist key customers in onboarding, installing, and troubleshooting Bayer's precision agriculture technologies CFV (Climate FieldView), addressing data collection challenges, connectivity issues, and educating on Digital Farming Solutions.
Who you are:
- Required:
- BSc in Agriculture or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Excellent understanding of local crop production, agronomy, and Bayer portfolio for seed, crop protection, and digital solutions.
- Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong interpersonal, team, and communication skills – presentation, written, verbal, and listening – to maximize results with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of key customer needs to develop tailored solutions.
- Experience using digital tools to manage, interpret, and leverage data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills through analytical thinking in complex situations with minimal guidance.
- CCAs, CCSCs, PAg(RTAg), or OAQ designation.
- Advanced computer and database skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite and other Bayer CropScience software (CRM, Tableau).
