Job summary

Go Powersports Limited is growing and seeks a friendly Customer Service Specialist to join our Kentville team. You’ll answer questions, help customers navigate the dealership, follow up, coordinate with the team, and ensure customers leave feeling cared for.

No powersports experience is required. If you’ve worked in hospitality, retail, or front desk roles, you could be a great fit. We offer competitive wages, RRSP matching, vacation, health benefits after probation, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You are eager to absorb product information, complete training and adapt to a rapidly changing market.
  • A valid driver’s license and are willing to provide a Driver’s Abstract

Responsibilities

  • Showroom management and merchandising.
  • Provide world-class customer service for in-store, telephone, and online inquiries.
  • Assist customers with parts orders and research merchandise.
  • Assist with receiving and processing parts from distributors and maintain an ordered stock room merchandising showroom.
  • Work with technicians and ensure their parts needs are being met.
  • Use product knowledge to look up parts.
  • Source parts if not in stock, place orders with manufacturers.
  • Place orders for customers, stock, work orders.
  • Determine inventory needs by communicating with technicians and customers.
  • Estimate inventory needs by season, units sold, turnover rates, etc.
  • Assist with receiving parts into DMS systems for inventory purposes.
  • Assist with managing inventory count.
  • Collect & post payments (debit, credit card, cash & EFT).
  • Work with Service Technicians and ensure their parts needs are met.
  • Support Service Technicians to optimise billable hours.
  • Collaborate with all departments to best serve customers.
  • Follow, maintain and complete service standards and training standards.
  • Be driven to attain individual & company goals & targets.
  • Provide education to customers regarding vehicle parts and standard maintenance schedules.
  • Book and manage service appointments in all aspects of customer care.
  • Complete appointment reminders to ensure service schedule is complete.
  • Complete service follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with a warranty coordinator to maximize warranty claims

What You’ll Do:
  • Parts & Service Consultant Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Showroom management and merchandising

  • Place orders for customers, stock, work orders
