You will deliver excellent front line customer experiences by providing information to the public, searching programs, processing registrations, and selling day passes/memberships in person and over the phone, collecting payments and assisting with related administrative responsibilities.

You are courteous and effective with the public in providing information and assistance regarding programs, activities and community events. You enjoy working with a diverse group of people and embrace change and challenges.
Previous customer service training, experience, and cash handling experience is desirable. Knowledge of recreation software, and Microsoft business tools (Excel and Word) would also be beneficial.
All employees will be available to work at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a condition of employment.
The pay for this unionized auxiliary position starts at step 1, $25.22 and ranges up to $29.48 per hour (2024 rates), plus 12% in lieu of benefits.
Involves shift work that include days, evenings and/or weekends with no guarantee of hours.
Preference given to those with availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
