Job summary

North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) seeks a Customer Service Representative – Recreation Cashier to join our team. You will assist customers with information, registrations, program searches, and selling day passes and memberships in person and by phone.

This unionized auxiliary position requires cash handling experience and friendly, reliable service. Police Information Check is required.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service training, experience, and cash handling experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of recreation software, and Microsoft business tools (Excel and Word) would also be beneficial.

All employees will be available to work at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a condition of employment.

HOURLY RATE:

The pay for this unionized auxiliary position starts at step 1, $25.22 and ranges up to $29.48 per hour (2024 rates), plus 12% in lieu of benefits.

HOURS OF WORK:

Involves shift work that include days, evenings and/or weekends with no guarantee of hours.

Preference given to those with availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
