Job summary

Waste Control Services (WCS) is hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our sales team in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. You will be the first point of contact, handling calls, emails, and inquiries while coordinating with sales and operations to determine the best options for customers.

You will build lasting relationships, resolve issues quickly, and input service details and contracts as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls quickly and efficiently.
  • Respond to questions and concerns about service via phone, email, fax.
  • Consult with customers and evaluate needs to determine best options.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives as quickly as possible.
  • Keep records of customer interactions.
  • Go the ‘extra mile’ to engage customers.
  • Escalate issues as required to the appropriate manager.
  • Provide additional service options where appropriate.
  • Assist with inputting and processing contracts and service change forms as needed.
  • Qualifying customer needs and identifying the appropriate service required for our inbound sales leads, then forwarding to the appropriate sales area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for:

With an attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, the Customer Service Representative operates in a fast-paced, customer satisfaction position within our sales department. With empathy, curiosity, and superior communication skills, the CSR is responsible for first-touch customer service and co-ordination with our sales and operations departments, helping existing and new customers alike. If you enjoy operating under deadlines and working in a challenging customer centric environment, this is the role for you.

What we offer:

  • This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position that works Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4:30PM.
  • $52,000 per year (Starting).
