Job Title : Customer Service Coordinator

Job Summary

Customer Service Coordinators (CSCs) act as the vital link between clients and our shipping services. They work closely with customers to identify shipping needs, recommend services, provide accurate quotes, and ensure orders are properly booked for dispatch and billing. They often manage high-profile customer accounts with substantial transaction volumes or unique requirements, ensuring dedicated support tailored to their needs. Beyond order management, CSCs provide transit updates and post-delivery information, maintaining clear communication throughout the shipping process. They are also cross-trained in driver dispatch operations to support and back up dispatchers during absences, providing valuable skills and growth opportunities within our organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Emails, Calls, & Portal communication
  • Booking orders and creating quotes as per customer requests
  • Supporting customers with quotes, bookings, and ETA updates
  • Accepting new orders / tenders and spot quotes
  • Billing for services, updating driver bills, and creating / updating SOPs
  • Dispatch support, including assigning work to drivers and routing manifests
  • Building and completing daily manifests
  • Problem solving and providing resolutions
  • Responding promptly to driver messages and calls
  • Communicating with customers for support

Qualifications / Skills

  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Multitasking abilities and team player mindset
  • Flexible and open to contributing as needed
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time management skills

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of CSC experience
  • Experience in freight management is an asset
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers
  • 1-2 years of office experience minimum
