Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Yorkton, SK is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and tidy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting actions.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable

Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required

• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
