Customer Service Associate

Start pay: $17.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and provide recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, recover merchandise, and handle product receiving and unloading from trucks in accordance with productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment, interacting professionally and friendly with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and endure frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service, relationship management, organizational, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
