Job description

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, and stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred).
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents (required).
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills (required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills (required).
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills (required).

Compensation: Starting pay is $17.60 per hour.

Location: 3140 Highway 69 N., Val Caron, Ontario P3N 1G4.

Employment type: Part-time.
