Job summary

DOLLAR TREE STORES CANADA, INC. is seeking part-time associates to assist customers, manage sales transactions, and maintain a clean store environment in Hannon, Ontario.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, have retail experience, and excellent customer service skills. You will also be responsible for stock management and ensuring a respectful environment.

The starting pay for this position is $17.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store well‑stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

Pay

The starting pay for this position is $17.60 per hour.
