Job summary

Directive is a remote-first marketing partner focused on driving measurable growth for B2B SaaS and tech companies. We’re hiring a Customer Marketing Manager to turn customer relationships into retention, advocacy, and revenue growth.

You’ll build programs across advocacy, lifecycle marketing, and expansion, bringing customer success stories to market and uncovering opportunities to grow existing accounts. You’ll reconnect with champions, activate referral programs, and own targeted campaigns

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer marketing or lifecycle marketing with retention/expansion ownership.
• Experience marketing to B2B audiences, preferably in SaaS or agency environments.
• Track record of customer advocacy programs and producing case studies or sales enablement content.
• Hands-on experience with segmented email campaigns and nurture programs.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the customer marketing strategy across advocacy, lifecycle engagement, and expansion.
• Develop campaigns to turn customer stories into case studies, testimonials, and references.
• Lead lifecycle campaigns and thoughtful gifting to deepen engagement across the customer journey.
• Identify signals of buying intent and re-engage champions, past customers, and relevant contacts.
• Collaborate with client services and sales to surface cross-sell/upsell opportunities and support renewals.
• Develop referral campaigns and coordinate outreach with partners for pipeline growth.
