Job summary

Roots in Quebec is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional service and build lasting relationships with customers in our stores. You will represent our brand with warmth, knowledge, and a passion for the outdoors.

You’ll handle POS transactions, keep merchandising up to date, maintain store standards, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment that reflects Roots’ core values of authenticity, quality, and community.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in apparel preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with customers.
• Understand cash handling, store standards and merchandising.
• Self-starter with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong presentation skills and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Display a 'customer comes first' attitude and build loyalty.
• Resolve customer issues at store level promptly.
• Be a team player and contribute to store success.
• Perform POS transactions and merchandising tasks.
• Receive shipments and manage replenishment.
• Maintain price markdowns and fitting room upkeep.
• Keep product knowledge up to date and maintain visuals.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention policies.
