Job summary

TD in Surrey, BC is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to support personal and commercial banking customers. The role focuses on processing transactions, understanding client needs, and delivering accurate banking solutions with confidentiality and care.

Responsibilities include resolving inquiries, meeting targets, and promoting TD services while maintaining a positive service environment and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent is an asset.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, planning, and time‑management skills to work in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Process financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments according to standardized operating procedures and industry regulations.
  • Understand and determine customer needs to recommend suitable banking solutions while exercising discretion with confidential matters.
  • Respond to and resolve customer concerns using standard procedures, escalating non‑standard activities when necessary.
  • Achieve assigned goals and business objectives by promoting banking solutions and completing business processes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Connect personally with customers to advise them clearly on banking solutions and processes.
  • Help build a positive, diverse and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness and participating in personal performance development.
  • Assist the team by respecting coworkers, staying dedicated, and keeping everyone updated on routine activity status.
  • Deliver quality customer experiences and recommend operational improvements where opportunities exist to achieve operational excellence.

Position: Customer Experience Associate

Job Requirements

  • Hands‑on knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet.
  • A proactive, detail‑oriented individual who can exercise initiative and handle multiple tasks with changing priorities.
  • A dynamic communicator with established customer‑experience skills who can connect, both verbally and in writing, with different people in a calm, courteous and effective manner.
