Job summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver custody of public spaces, offices, and washrooms while assisting guests with inquiries.

• Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling efficiently.
• Provide guests with accurate information about the mountain and operations.
• Monitor and organize cleaning supply inventory; report maintenance needs to Supervisor.
• Work across multiple locations on the mountain, including alpine areas with variable weather.

Description

Custodians play a key role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public spaces, offices, and washrooms, while also assisting guests with inquiries. Custodians work closely with their team under the direction of the Assistant Supervisor and report directly to the Supervisor. This role involves physical work, including lifting and carrying, and requires adaptability to a variety of alpine weather conditions.

Job Functions

• Deliver exceptional guest service by being approachable, friendly, and helpful.
• Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, offices, and public spaces, including floors and high-traffic areas.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling efficiently.
• Provide guests with accurate information about the mountain and its operations.
• Assist with monitoring and organizing cleaning supply inventory.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the Supervisor promptly.
• Work at multiple locations across the mountain, including alpine areas with variable weather (rain, snow, cold, heat).

Perform other duties as assigned.
