Job summary

La Crete Public School is seeking a part-time custodian to help maintain a clean and sanitary facility. The role will involve working independently for 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, for a 12 month term with paid vacation.

Start date is ASAP. Preferred qualifications include Grade 12 Diploma, WHMIS training (provided), prior custodian/janitor experience, ability to work collaboratively with staff and maintenance, confidentiality, and eligibility to work in Canada.

Job description

La Crete Public School is hiring a part-time custodian!

The part-time custodian will utilize the equipment and supplies provided to help maintain a clean and sanitary facility.

The part-time custodian will work independently for 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. This is a 12 month position with paid vacation leave.

Start Date: Immediately/As soon as possible

Hours: 25 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Diploma
• WHMIS Training is required and will be provided
• Previous custodian/janitor experience
• Able to work collaboratively with staff and the maintenance department
• Recognize and respect the need for confidentiality
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• Salary will depend upon qualifications and experience.
• Benefits will be provided after 90 calendar days of employment.
