  • Supports the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of program, course, and curriculum information within Colleague.
  • Collaborates with Academic Centres during the development or revision of curriculum.
  • Participates in curriculum committee meetings, program vitality reviews, and preparation of approval documentation for Academic Council.
  • Ensures all curriculum processes align with institutional standards and academic governance procedures.
  • Facilitates both incoming and outgoing transfer agreements, including evaluating course outlines for equivalencies and supporting articulation agreements.
  • Coordinates ACAT-related partnerships with Alberta and international institutions, and coordinates prior learning assessment requests with students and departments.
  • Maintains academic calendar information and ensures reporting accuracy.
  • Maintains system data for course and program information.

Reporting to the Manager, Admissions, Curriculum & Transfer, the Curriculum & Transfer Specialist is an integral member of the Registrar’s Office (RO) team. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Curriculum & Transfer Specialist supports the institution’s strategic enrolment goals by overseeing and coordinating curriculum management, transfer agreements, and prior learning processes, while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of academic information systems.
Position Details
The Curriculum & Transfer Specialist Serves As The Primary Contact Within The Registrar’s Office For All Curriculum-related Matters. They Are Responsible For:

  • Supporting the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of program, course, and curriculum information within Colleague.
  • Collaborating with Academic Centres during the development or revision of curriculum
  • Participates in curriculum committee meetings, program vitality reviews, and the preparation of approval documentation for Academic Council,
  • Ensure all curriculum processes align with institutional standards and academic governance procedures.
  • facilitates both incoming and outgoing transfer agreements. This includes evaluating course outlines from other post-secondary institutions to determine equivalencies, supporting the development of outgoing articulation agreements, and
  • Acts as the Alberta Council on Admissions and Transfer (ACAT) Contact Persons’ Assistant to coordinate agreements with partner institutions across Alberta, Canada, and internationally. coordinates prior learning assessment requests in collaboration with students, academic departments, and external organizations, ensuring timely and accurate evaluation of prior learning and experience for credit.
  • Academic calendar management which includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on courses and programs
  • System maintenance to ensure course and program information is correct reporting is correct
Required Qualifications
  • University Undergraduate degree
Preferred Qualifications
Employment in a Registrar’s Office in a post-secondary institution, public institution for 3+ years with relevant experience in curriculum
Salary Level 11, Step 2 $64,798.93 per annum Working Here
