University of Ottawa is seeking multiple sessional staff to assist with the course Pharmaceuticals: Federal and International Regulations (BPS4102) at the Main Campus for the 2027 Winter Semester.

Positions involve grading, marking assignments and assisting with exam preparation under the supervisor André Molgat. Work is in person from January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027, with hourly pay depending on status: undergraduates at the lower rate and graduates at the higher rate.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have completed BPS4102 and have a bachelor’s in chemistry, biochemistry or their equivalent.
  • Understanding of drug development and regulation.
  • Knowledge of grading and assessment practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Marking and grading assistance, including marking/grading of a written assignment (essay format).
  • Comprehensive assessment of long answer questions.
  • Support for tutorials and course delivery on site.
