Job summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking multiple part-time Correctors (CUPE) to support the course Introduction aux sciences biopharmaceutiques (BPS2510) for the 2027 Winter Semester. Work is on the Main Campus, in person, with duties including grading, supervising midterms, and assisting with exams.

These positions pay an hourly rate depending on student status: lower rate for undergraduates and higher rate for graduates, with rates as published.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: completed one year of general chemistry and one year of organic chemistry, and CHM 3140 or CHM 3771 or equivalents.
• All individuals who are not graduate students must pass a qualifying test.
• WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops are required.

Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have successfully completed one year of general chemistry, one year of organic chemistry, and either CHM 3140, CHM 3771, or their equivalents.

All individuals who are not graduate students (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Chemistry must pass a qualifying test (unless already completed).

Successful completion of the WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) and Occupational Health and Safety workshops is required.
