Red Deer Public Schools is seeking a casual Substitute Caretaker for various sites. Shifts range 3 to 8 hours, typically between 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, with hours and locations assigned as needed.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and technology skills and direct experience in caretaking/janitorial work. The pay rate follows the current collective agreement with CUP Local 1012, with employment offered on a casual basis as vacancies arise.

Casual position, various locations and hours as required

Desirable qualifications:

• Candidates must be available to work on short notice for shifts 3 to 8 hours long between the hours of 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. Hours will vary based on needs.
• Excellent communication and technology skills
• Direct experience in the caretaking/janitorial field is preferred

Required knowledge, education, abilities and skills are as per the Job Description (available from People Services). Pay rate is per the current collective agreement with C.U.P.E. Local 1012.
