Job summary

Southlake Health invites Medical Radiation Technologists to join a collaborative team delivering CT and radiography imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment at Southlake Health and affiliated sites. The role emphasizes safe ionizing radiation use, image quality, and cross-functional teamwork.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Medical Radiation Sciences, CMRITO mandatory, and MRT(R) OAMRS recommended, with IV therapy and venous access training completed or planned.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Radiation Sciences from an accredited institution.
• CMRITO mandatory; MRT (R) OAMRS highly recommended.
• Completion of IV Therapy and Central Venous Access Devices online training or plans to complete.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused care and optimum imaging in CT and Radiography.
• Assess the patient condition and respond to contrast reactions and complications.
• Operate, troubleshoot and ensure safety of imaging equipment and ancillary devices.
• Assist Radiologist in procedures as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
