Job summary

Southlake Health in Newmarket, ON, is seeking a MRT-MRI Technologist (Temporary Full Time) to join the patient care team. The role requires MR imaging expertise, MR safety consciousness, and excellent communication to support high-quality patient care.

Candidates should hold a Diploma/Degree in Medical Radiation Technology, be CMRTO registered with MRI specialization, and be a member of OAMRS. 3–5 years MRI experience is preferred, with 3 Tesla experience considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Medical Radiation Technology from an accredited institution.
• Registered with CMRTO with MR specialization (MRT).
• Member of OAMRS.
• 3–5 years MRI experience preferred; MR 3 Tesla experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and contrast administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide MRI technologist services in collaboration with the health care team.
• Ensure MR safety and patient care during imaging procedures.
• Demonstrate ongoing continuing education and professional development.
