Job summary

Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering & Oshawa is seeking a Registered Technologist to perform radiographs and CT imaging. You will support radiologists, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging quality across modalities in Diagnostic Imaging Services.

Requirements include completion of a Medical Radiation Sciences program and a valid CMRITO license, with flexibility to work 8-hour shifts, evenings, nights, weekends and on-call schedules.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Radiation Sciences program.
• Must have CMRITO license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiographic, fluoroscopic and CT techniques and record keeping.
• Proven ability to operate X-Ray, CT, Fluoroscopy equipment to provide diagnostic images.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize requests and maintain patient care.
• Willingness to work all shifts on short notice, standby and be on site within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Produce radiographs and CT images and store images as required.
• Assist Radiologist and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain competence per CMRTIO guidelines and CAMRT/OAMRS requirements.
• Rotate into other radiographic modalities as needed.
• Participate in student/technologist training and related duties.
