We are currently looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team in Richmond, BC or in Mississauga, ON (Hybrid).

This role will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing new and rehashed applications within a 30-minute turnaround time, and providing effective customer service to dealers via telephone or email.

Job functions include but are not limited to:

1. Review, analyze, and make decisions on all credit applications received. Communicate with dealers when more information is required or when an application will be declined or conditioned.
2. Perform investigations on credit applications (e.g., pull bureaus, verify fraud alerts, contact banks and credit institutions) to make informed decisions.
3. Use a call center telephone system to answer incoming dealer calls and make outbound calls to dealers as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. College or University degree preferred, especially in Business or Finance, but not required.
2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer credit; auto lending experience is an asset.
3. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with dealers, co-workers, managers, and staff from other departments regarding credit deals.
4. Bilingual in English and French is preferred but not required.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and analyze credit applications thoroughly.
6. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings (as early as 8:30 a.m.) and evenings (up to 9:00 p.m. PST), with some Saturdays.
7. Proficiency with MS Office applications.
