You will follow production guidelines, prepare meals for the Student Center Pub, and maintain high standards of food safety and customer service in a union environment. The role requires teamwork, adaptability, and reliable, consistent work ethic across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary experience in institutional settings preferred (hospitals, universities, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygienic practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and production guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, and trimming.
• Safely use knives and other utensils; operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Cook using diverse methods; roast, steam, grill, and bake as required.
• Garnish and portion foods according to guidelines; store food safely.
