The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, food safety knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cake Decorator or in a similar bakery role.
• Strong piping skills (borders, flowers, lettering, and detail work).
• Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and pastries using piping, fondant, and other decorating techniques.
• Create custom cake designs based on customer orders and reference images.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and attention to detail across all products.
• Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines during peak hours and holidays.
• Prepare icing, fillings, and other decorating materials as required.
• Keep the decorating station clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with bakers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Handle special requests and last-minute orders with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
