Job summary

Labatt Breweries of Canada in Alberta seeks a friendly Taproom Associate to welcome guests, take orders, make beer recommendations, and create a positive Taproom experience.

You will develop knowledge of Banded Peak products, tours and brewery operations, while helping maintain a clean, safe environment and processing transactions at the POS.

Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events is required, plus eligibility to serve alcohol in Alberta and ProServe certification.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or serving experience preferred.
• Passion for craft beer and willingness to learn about brewing, beer styles, and the Banded Peak portfolio.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting, stocking, and cleaning duties.
• Must be eligible to serve alcohol in Alberta and obtain/maintain valid ProServe certification.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, making beer recommendations, and creating a positive Taproom experience.
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Banded Peak products, menu offerings, brewery operations, and tours to educate and engage customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Taproom environment, including completing assigned cleaning, stocking, and sanitation tasks.
• Support sales growth by promoting beer, merchandise, events, tours, and seasonal offerings.
• Accurately process transactions using POS systems and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations while adhering to responsible alcohol service, health and safety, and company policies.
