Job summary

Muskoka Brewery in Bracebridge, ON is seeking a part-time Craft Beer Enthusiast (Taproom Server) to ensure a welcoming guest experience, pour drinks, and assist with food service in our taproom and events.

You will lead group tastings, help meet daily sales goals, and support merchandising, store displays, and outdoor events while upholding the brand values and delivering outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be smart serve certified (minimum age 18).
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and team-oriented with strong communication.
• Experience with POS system and handling cash/credit/debit transactions.
• Ability to follow processes set by leads and manager.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Exemplary work ethic and alignment with company values.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
• Flexible to work weekends and special events.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Comfortable in kitchen and manufacturing/retail/outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and provide exceptional experience in serving food and drinks.
• Lead guided tours and tastings for groups of various sizes.
• Achieve daily sales targets.
• Handle daily opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with taproom store displays and merchandising.
• Rotate beer inventory and stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of retail, event, and outdoor spaces.
• Package online store orders accurately and efficiently.
• Work in all weather conditions, indoor and outdoor.
• Represent Muskoka Brewery at external events and festivals.
• Perform other duties as requested.

This role is available on a Permanent part time basis.

Reporting to the Taproom Manager, the Craft Beer Enthusiast (Taproom Server) is front and centre of what we brew, ensuring quality product is in our customers hands every time! The enthusiastic, high-energy individual truly enjoys working in a team environment and enjoys getting involved in new ventures, creative mind set and is a great ambassador of Muskoka Brewery’s values and brand.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall Muskoka Brewery experience of all taproom guests.
• Greeting and welcoming each guest and providing an exceptional experience in serving food and drinks to our amazing customers.
• Leading guided tours and tastings to both small and large groups.
• Achieving daily sales targets.
• Daily opening and closing procedures.
• Assisting with taproom store displays and merchandising.
• Rotating beer inventory and stock accordingly.
• Daily cleaning and maintaining of the retail, event and outdoor spaces.
• Packaging online store orders efficiently and correctly.
• Ready to work in all weather conditions, indoor and outdoor.
• Occasionally working external events, festivals, sampling opportunities in our great community.
• Other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be smart serve certified (minimum age 18)
