Job summary

Streamline Control Solutions, part of SGS, seeks a Leak Detection Advisor to support CPM advisory services for oil and gas pipeline clients across western Canada. You will assist in assessment, tuning, testing, and monitoring of CPM systems, building the foundation to independently lead engagements as you gain experience.

This role suits a professional with foundational pipeline or OT experience who aims to develop deep CPM specialization, supported by a mentorship pathway toward the Senior

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in oil and gas pipeline ops, SCADA, OT infra, or related tech.
• Foundational pipeline ops knowledge and SCADA awareness.
• Familiarity with CPM methods (CPM LDS, RTM, or statistical).
• Willingness to learn CSA Z662 requirements quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented.
• Open to travel to client sites across western Canada.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation of client CPM leak detection per CSA/API guidance.
• Assist with threshold calculations and uncertainties analyses.
• Contribute to alarm analysis, data quality checks, and reports.
