Cresco is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its Bedford, NS head office for a 14-month term. The role offers flexibility for in-office, hybrid or remote work and reports to the Director of Accounting.

The successful candidate will manage month-end close for multiple entities, oversee reporting, government remittances, and intercompany reconciliations while driving process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• Experience in high-volume or multi-entity environments preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated with initiative and proactive problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Prepare month-end and quarter-end reports for multiple entities.
• Build internal reporting packages for management and partners.
• Collaborate on budget preparation and analysis with stakeholders.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and cross-billings.
• Review income statements and balance sheets for accuracy and controls.
• Support year-end file preparation for external accountants.
• Ensure timely government reporting and remittances.
• Assist with system and process improvements across the organization.
• Compute annual commercial real estate rental calculations.
