Qualifications

• University degree in accounting with CPA designation.
• 5–10 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in not-for-profit environments.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage A/R and A/P in Xero; oversee weekly vendor payments via Plooto.
• Supervise month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee payroll processing on a bi-monthly basis.
• Monitor cash management and forecasting; coordinate with treasury.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and funding requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to leadership.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Support internal and external audits and strengthen internal controls.
• Lead process improvements in accounting systems and reporting.
• Mentor the Finance and HR Coordinator; collaborate across departments.
