Job summary

SASKATCHEWAN DISTANCE LEARNING CENTRE is seeking a temporary full-time Course Development Teacher in Prince Albert. The role starts based on availability of the successful candidate and ends June 25, 2027.

The campus location will be determined by the principal residence of the successful candidate. Primary responsibilities include understanding curriculum requirements, drafting instructional content in MS Word, collaborating with the Course Development Team in Moodle, and ensuring learning

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of curriculum requirements to develop instructional content that meets curricular outcomes.
• Use MS Word to draft instructional content ensuring clarity and alignment with learning objectives.
• Collaborate with Course Development Team on a project in Moodle, aligning with learning objectives and program guidelines.
• Develop comprehensive plans for each course development project to meet learning outcomes per the AGC Framework.

Responsibilities

• Understand curriculum and assessment: Demonstrate a deep understanding of curriculum requirements to develop instructional content that meets curricular outcomes
• Drafting Instructional content: Use MS word to draft instructional content ensuring clarity and alignment with learning objectives
• Collaboration with Course Development Team: Work closely on a project team with instructional content into the Moodle environment, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, design standards, and program guidelines. This includes actively seeking input from team members.
• Envision and develop comprehensive plans for each course development project, ensuring all learning outcomes are met and assessed according to the Sask DLC Assessment, Grading, and Communication (AGC) Framework.
