Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking an interview-position courier in Timmins, Ontario. You will perform courteous pick-up and delivery on an assigned route, ensure shipments meet FedEx Canada service standards, and support customer service functions as needed.

The role demands a valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy packages, and prior customer-facing experience. Flexible schedules and holiday coverage are required; training and assessments are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Must complete mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment.
• Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick‑up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service.
• Provide related customer service functions.
