Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking an entry-level interview-position driver to provide courteous pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route, and to check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, safety and reliability; you will respond to customer needs, maintain accurate records, and support operations while working flexible schedules including holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Minimum one year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-placement driver assessment.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs an asset.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment.
• Willingness to be flexible with schedules and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous pick-up and delivery of packages on assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service standards.
