Job summary

Rexel Canada – Atlantic Division, a leader in the energy solutions & electrical distribution industry, is looking for a Counter Sales Associate located in our Dartmouth, NS branch.

You will directly service customers by phone and email, process orders and quotations daily, and ensure high levels of customer service while confirming stock availability and offering alternatives as needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Be computer literate.
• AS400 experience would be an asset.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.
• Team Player.
• Product knowledge of the electrical business would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Directly service customers via phone & email on a daily basis.
• Process orders, inquiries & quotations every day.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations.
• Assist customers with any inquiries regarding ecommerce.
