Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking a Counter Sales Associate based in Scarborough, Ontario. You will directly service customers via phone and email, process orders, inquiries and quotations, and strive for high levels of customer service.

You will confirm stock, suggest alternatives, make follow-up calls on quotations, and assist customers with ecommerce questions. Two years of counter sales in the electrical industry is preferred; AS400 experience is a plus; you’ll need strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Directly service customers via phone & email on a daily basis.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Be computer literate; AS400 experience would be an asset.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.
• Product knowledge of the electrical business would be an asset.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 50000 – 65000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
