Job summary

Dixon Electric, part of the Sonepar Group, is a leading electrical distributor serving contractors and customers in Ontario. The role focuses on providing exceptional counter, phone, and email support, handling orders, and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will collaborate with the sales team, resolve product issues, and contribute to efficient service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experience in the electrical industry or equivalent knowledge.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional phone manner.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Minimum one year of Warehouse experience.
  • Must be willing to be forklift trained.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to contractor customers at the counter, by phone or email to satisfy product/material needs.
  • Handle customer service requests including order picking, entry, pricing, and maintenance.
  • Assist and support the sales team with customer orders and requests.
  • Handle product-related problems, such as defective products and returns.
  • Maintain stock/product levels in the counter area.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by management.

Major Responsibilities:
