Job summary

Kibbi in Canada seeks a production est imag er with 2-3 years experience to develop and oversee work-study, production planning and cost estimation. You will read blueprints, prep estimation reports and collaborate with engineers, owners and subcontractors to refine cost and schedule data.

The role involves analysis of tenders, pre-qualifications and cost monitoring within a fast-paced environment; a college level background is required and bilingual language capability is valued.

Qualifications

• College/CEGEP education and 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience with cost estimation, project coordination or fabrication environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work study and assist in preparing estimates, schedules and reports.
• Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs.
• Inspect processes and oversee production activities.
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine work requirements.
• Prepare pre-qualification submissions and tender documentation.
• Analyze tenders and recommend awards; liaise with engineers and contractors.
