Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or business; CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a cost analyst or similar role.
• Experience in data, operational and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting processes and software; MS Excel proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to support month-end close and budgeting work.

Responsibilities

• Recommends and directs changes in operating and manufacturing procedures to improve efficiencies in processes.
• Gathers and analyzes financial data; offers analytical support for departmental projects.
• Coordinates with management to forecast and analyze costs of processes, labor, and inventory, Estimates product costs for existing and new products.
• Determines estimates and monitors standard costs and investigates variances with actual costs.
• Monitors changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs.
