Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Canada Ltd in Fort Erie, Ontario is seeking a Cost Accountant to maintain inventory valuations and perform margin analysis on all products. The role will extract data from SAP and prepare reports for senior management.

Reporting to the Head of Controlling, the position requires a university degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred, at least 3 years in manufacturing, and strong Excel and Canadian GAAP/IFRS knowledge. This is a fixed-term contract of 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare Margin Analysis Reports on all Products/Services.
• Collect all data to determine business costs on products and services.
• Generate a detailed Margin Analysis on Aircraft Completions, MRO and Spares.
• Review the Gross Margins on all product lines and analyze variances.
• Ensure reported revenue and costs align with aircraft type, model or budget.
• Assist in month-end closing and journal entries related to sales and cost of sales.
• Reconcile inventory and WIP sub-ledgers to GL accounts monthly.
• Support other departments with report requirements and projects.
