Essex Solutions Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant in Ontario to support cost analysis, production data tracking, and accounts payable. Strong Excel skills and experience in a manufacturing environment are essential.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and at least two years of cost accounting experience. You will analyze costs, prepare production reports, and help with month-end close and standard costing.

Qualifications

• Two years of cost accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with Accounts Payable processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, labor, materials, and overhead.
• Prepare and review production reports and variances.
• Support month-end close activities related to inventory.
• Reconcile and process vendor invoices, credits, and payments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform periodic physical counts.
• Develop and maintain standard costing systems.
• Generate detailed reports using Excel and ERP systems.
• Provide cost analysis support to operations and management.
