Qualifications

• 2+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing or seafood.
• CPA, CMA, or CGA designation, or pursuing CPA.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to analyze large datasets.
• Understanding of IT systems and data flows related to cost tracking.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory evaluations at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure correct valuation.
• Collaborate with production, shipping, and receiving to streamline cost tracking.
• Perform frequent inventory counts to verify accuracy.
• Assist IT and leadership in completing the ERP inventory module.
• Provide financial reporting and cost analyses focused on inventory valuation.
