Job summary

Bulk Barn is seeking a Store Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Supervisor in daily operations. The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and the ability to supervise staff during shifts.

You will assist with opening and closing procedures, delegate tasks, handle POS transactions, ensure store cleanliness, restock shelves, and maintain a safe work environment. Flexible hours include mornings, days and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience and working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Proven leadership abilities and strong communication skills.
• Retail experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Supervisor in day-to-day operations.
• Lead staff in the absence of the Store Manager.

• Delegate tasks amongst employees and ensure timely execution.
• Assist customers to exceed customer expectations.
• Process cash transactions using POS system and Interact terminal.
• Restock store shelves and maintain store cleanliness.
• Unload deliveries (in excess of 50 lbs.).
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

A Store Key Holder assists the Store Manager and Supervisor in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• In absence of Store Manager, manage staff and ensure that Bulk Barn standards are upheld
• Coach and motivate staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities
• Delegate tasks amongst employees
• Follow-up with employees to ensure the tasks are being executed correctly and in a timely manner
• Lead and assist workers in performing their day-to-day tasks
• Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Process cash transactions using POS system and Interact terminal
• Clean store
• Restock store shelves
• Unload deliveries (in excess of 50 lbs.)
• Ensure the store is kept clean at all times
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Temporary, Part-time.

Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday. Your availability must be approximately 12 to 25 hours per week.
