Job summary

The Town of Whitby seeks a proactive Supervisor of Corporate Security to lead the implementation of a centralized security program, protecting staff, visitors and assets. You will work under the Senior Manager, Security & Enforcement Services to advance CARE values in daily operations.

You will oversee security activities, coordinate with town departments, and manage investigations of incidents, enhancing safety across all facilities and services for a growing community.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement a centralized corporate security program.
• Monitor day-to-day security operations including contracted services.
• Investigate security incidents and maintain case documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements corporate security philosophy, policies, procedures and strategy.
• Directs day-to-day security operations and oversees contracted services.
• Creates a Town-wide security program with interdepartmental engagement.
• Conducts security investigations related to non-criminal and criminal incidents.
